Private Ledger is built by Dethok Technologies Pte. Ltd. (UEN 202632209E), a company registered in Singapore. This policy explains what happens to your data when you use the Private Ledger app. The short version: nothing leaves your device, because we never receive it.
Private Ledger has no account and no sign-up. We do not operate a server that stores your information. We do not collect, transmit, sell, rent, or share any personal or financial data. There is nothing for us to collect — the app is designed so that your data stays on your phone.
When you import a bank or card statement, the file is read and processed entirely on your device. Your transactions, balances, categories, and any notes you add are stored locally on your phone, encrypted at rest, and unlocked only by your Face ID or PIN. None of it is uploaded to us or to any third party.
Private Ledger contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking technologies. We do not build a profile of you and we have no way to see how you use the app.
Because no data leaves your device, we do not share data with any third party. We do not use third-party services that would receive your information.
Your data lives on your device. You can delete any transaction or statement within the app, and deleting the app removes all data it stored on your device. Because we never hold your data, there is nothing for you to request from us and nothing for us to delete on our servers — there are no servers holding it.
Private Ledger is rated 4+ and does not collect data from anyone, including children.
Private Ledger is operated by a Singapore company and is designed so that no personal data, as defined under Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act 2012, is collected, stored, or transmitted by the developer.
If this policy changes, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. Material changes will be reflected in the app.
